The writers

Sean Isaac

Dream car: Pagani Huayra Spider

Current car: Peugot 208 GTi

Likes: Hybrid cars, Physics, most likely your Mum, Burgers (enough about your Mum), Caffeine, Batman, things that make sploshing sounds, Shoes that are too big for him, McDonalds but only the old recipe, Alfa Romeo 4C, salt and shake rip and the odd cider.

Dislikes: Eggs - we asked for more this is all we got

Sean (spelled the wrong way), passed his test at 18 unlike some of our other writers on the payroll but we’re not here to talk about that. with a fresh license Sean wanted one thing and one thing only a Hot Hatch, so he went for the 208 GTi for some reason but it’s a choice he made and we at CarTorque respect that.

Growing up Sean was worryingly afflicted by cars, yes he was one of those noodles that could tell you the exact diameter of a McLaren F1’s air-condition unit, he likes to pretend that those days are behind him but our keen eye investigators in the CarTorque office know full well that this is utter nonesense.

He’d be great in a pub quiz, if the pub quiz was useless intricate details of cars you’ve most likely forgotten about, but this is why he is a valuable friend to us at CarTorque, with both his own opions of the motoring world and it’s current state and his in depth knowledge of the ongoings of a car it creates the perfect melting pot for entertaining content for you the viewer.

Sean is able to give you all his own personal views on a topic while also blending it in with critical facts and knowledge of the subject… whether he will is a different matter.

You’ll find Sean writing regular pieces and car stories for you, found in our ‘recent stories’ tab, he is excited for you to enjoy his work and looks forward to seeing/hearing from you, especially if you’re a 10oz cheeseburger.

Adam Woodruff

Dream car: Aston Martin V8 Vantage

Current car: Citroen C2 (the French Ferrari)

Likes: Lotus for some reason, almost any car with pop up headlights, Mr Whippy #nomrsoftscoop, Jaguar XJR, Star Wars, going upstairs and then forgetting why he went up there and a strange obsession with the film Ratatouille.

Dislikes: KIA, more KIA, the KIA factory, the bloke who started KIA, people that eat with their mouth open for some unknown reason, 4D numberplates, when you’re making something like a prawn pasta and the sauce refuses to thicken.

Adam as stated drives a Citroen C2, something of which he claims could ‘easily outrun a Bugatti on a good day’ - we’re yet to see this Bugatti killing beast of machinery go any higher than 80mph without needing a mid afternoon nap, apart from that he’s alright you may have already gathered his hatred for a certain South Korean brand of cars, we would like to mention that not everyone at CarTorque thinks this way but he definitely makes up for all of us.

As a young boy Adam gravitated towards cars that he dubs ‘ones that make no sense’ which probably explains the Citroen C2. You see for whatever reason if a car has an odd quirk, strange design or even if it’s simply just counter productive Adam seems to be pulled toward it, we would love for him to be ‘normal’ but in fairness it does supply us with interesting content for you all so bear with him.

You’ll find Adam most often in our weekly CarTorque volumes, more often than not if there’s a newly released volume it’ll be Adam that has wrote it, so you’ll be able to get acquainted with him quite well.
